Stephen Ack­ert, Head of Music at the National Gallery of Art, will present an all-Bach con­cert on the Con­cor­dia DC series at The United Church, Fri­day evening, Jan­u­ary 18 at 7:30 PM.

Cel­list Ben­jamin Wensel will join Mr. Ack­ert for the con­cert, which is free to the pub­lic and includes a recep­tion for artists and audi­ence. Mr. Wensel is a mem­ber of the United States Army Strings. The con­cert will fea­ture both cham­ber and solo works for cello and key­board, some of which will be played on United’s his­tor­i­cal baroque organ.
